We provide performance brake & clutch solutions to our worldwide customers in motorsport, performance OEM, armoured vehicle, and specialist application markets. Our customers comprise world class OEM's, race series, motorsport teams, distributors, specialist tuners and armourers.
We are currently recruiting for two Motorsport Account Managers to join our existing sales team. You will provide office-based support to Business Development Executives, so as to optimise the effectiveness of the sales team and ensure optimum service levels for existing and potential customers. You will manage a portfolio of Accounts on a day to day basis, from initial order intake through to despatch of the product. You will be responsible for the management of any issues that arise with the order and communicate with the production team to ensure on time delivery to the customer.
Responsibilities
• Field telephone enquiries and provide advice to customers on product, technical, commercial and delivery issues.
• Formulate quotations and proposals, working with Business Development Executives as required.
• Process sales orders on the integrated business management computer system in accordance with set procedures.
• Act as Project Manager for all future customer driven projects using the Alcon gateway process.
• Liaise with the Production department to establish production dates and monitor/chase progress of customer orders, feeding this information back to customers.
• Liaise with the Engineering department as required to establish correct technical specifications or to instigate engineering work to fulfill customer requirements.
• Book in customer returns and ensure that required actions are undertaken on a timely basis.
• Assist in any other sales office duties as and when required.
• When a suitable level of technical ability and customer knowledge is achieved, provide support on events such as exhibitions.
The Candidate:
• Previous Account Management experience highly desirable
• Previous customer interface via telephone or face to face
• Experience of working in a pressurised environment
• Must have worked in a role where meeting deadlines is critical
• Must have the ability to work independently, using common sense and logical thinking to resolve issues quickly.
